Quinta settimana per la maratona di solidarietà lanciata dal Gruppo Rossi a favore del Policlinico Gemelli di Roma. La sottoscrizione tra dipendenti e fornitori delle società ferroviarie del Gruppo, la GCF e la Gefer, ha permesso di raccogliere ad oggi 465.000 euro.
Grazie al contributo di GCF, della famiglia Rossi, dei dipendenti di GCF e Gefer e della filiera di fornitori, professionisti e partner del settore delle costruzioni ferroviarie la Fondazione Gemelli ritiene possibile affrontare il nuovo, ulteriore impegno nella strategia di contrasto al Coronavirus: mettere in campo al Policlinico Gemelli un nuovo reparto di terapia subintensiva pneumologica dedicato ai pazienti Covid.
Nello specifico la donazione GCF permette di provvedere alla dotazione tecnologica del reparto finanziando l’acquisto di ecografi per esami toraco addominali, sistemi di supporto ventilatorio non invasivo, un sistema portatile per radiografia digitale e sistemi di monitoraggio paziente con relativa centralizzazione.
È questo, infatti, l’ultimo tassello della sequenza di misure che, numerose ed onerose, la Fondazione Gemelli ha intrapreso per fronteggiare l’emergenza sanitaria del coronavirus.
“La realizzazione del reparto – spiega dal Policlinico Gemelli la dr.ssa Annia Lucina Della Penna – è necessaria per ospitare pazienti positivi per i quali è indispensabile un ricovero finalizzato a somministrare trattamenti terapeutici di tipo chirurgico. L’impegno vostro, dei vostri dipendenti e fornitori ci commuove, ci sostiene rendendo possibile attivare le misure necessarie e ci rende fiduciosi perché ogni nostro sforzo è accompagnato dalla vostra solidarietà”.
Uno sforzo ingente, in termini di impegno di risorse umane e di disponibilità economiche; una fatica quotidiana che ha evidenziato l’abnegazione ed il coraggio di medici, infermieri, operatori sanitari; una sfida coraggiosa che il gruppo Rossi ha voluto sostenere e fare propria con una donazione privata della famiglia Rossi e con l’impegno diretto nel coinvolgere le proprie aziende e l’intera filiera ferroviaria in una gara di sostegno. Ad oggi, nelle cinque settimane di “maratona della solidarietà”, sono stati raccolti e donati al Policlinico Gemelli 465.157 euro: 38.280 negli ultimi 15 giorni.
“In un frangente drammatico come quello attuale – rimarca con convinzione Edoardo Rossi, Presidente della Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie nel rilanciare la sottoscrizione – la solidarietà è un dovere etico primario. Il ritorno, seppur graduale, ad una normalità esistenziale prima ancora che produttiva, dipende da quanto sapremo tutti supportare l’impegno di chi è schierato sulla prima linea”.

Ogni martedì l’importo raccolto in settimana viene devoluto alla Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli.
